Ramblings of a Nut Case

The title of this post says it all. I feel like a nut case lately. I have so much going on that some days are just crazy. McKinlee is still in dance and Wyatt is playing Basketball right now. Between running them two to their different activities and keeping up with things at home, homework for Wyatt, school for me and wondering what I want to be when I grow up, I am drained some days. I am running out of time to get the National exam taken and get fully licensed. I'm so afraid that I won't be able to pass the exam and I will have wasted $500 for it for nothing. Not to mention the time and money spent in school. And then I still have to finish the course I'm taking now. Whew! I wish I could clone myself. Lol.
On a different note, my kids are both doing well. I am so lucky to have healthy kids. Other than the occasional colds and 24 hour bugs we haven't had any major illnesses. McKinlee is still a little spitfire and Wyatt is my calm, easy going little guy. I can't believe how fast they are growing up. It makes me so sad. I love every minute that I get to spend with them (although if you catch me on a bad day I may be saying the opposite). I hope that we get to make A LOT of good memories this year. That is one of my goals for this year. I have plenty of them and I hope I'm able to accomplish every single one of them (especially the one where I get to take a much needed vacation!)
I hope that everyone is able to cross things off of there list this year. I hope this is the best year ever for everyone!

Happy New Year 2012!!!

Well so much for staying on top of this blog! I am going to try harder in this new year. Happy New Year!! I really am glad to see 2011 end and I hope 2012 is a way better year for me. I am posting some of my favorite pictures from this last year. McKinlee started dance class and she absolutely LOVES it! She wants to go EVERYDAY. Wyatt took the year off from sports but he wants to get started again this year. We have him signed up for basketball and he'll do soccer in the Spring too. This first picture is of just me and the kids. I love it! I am almost never in any pictures with my kids. That's something I'm going to work harder on doing.
McKinlee the goofball! She was so excited for pictures and was an angel...until the camera came out. Lol!
Wyatt got a little 50 motorcycle this year and has really enjoyed riding it. We plan on getting him a bigger bike this year. This is Wyatt (on the right) with his riding buddy Beau (left). Aren't they so cute all decked out??

Here is McKinlee in her dance costume the night of her Christmas Performance. She was so excited and she did such a great job! She remembered all the moves.

A Day of Fishing

We spent the day fishing at Schofield. It was windy and looked like it might rain on us but we got lucky and only saw a little sprinkling of rain here and there.
Here is Wyatt's BIG catch of the day! He was bummed that we didn't keep any that were caught. He really wanted fish for dinner.
                                                       My two beauties!!
McKinlee gets car sickness sometimes and today was one of those days. She threw up all over her skort and I had to wash it out in the rest area bathroom so she wore Richard's jacket as a skirt until her bottoms dried.
McKinlee found a pet bug.... it ended up being a baby stink bug!
Here is our fisherman!!! What a hunk!!
It was a fun day but we were all so tired and glad to get back home. Until our next adventure.....

Day at the Aquarium

Last Saturday we took the kids to The Living Planet Aquarium. Wyatt wanted to see an Octopus and McKinlee wanted to see Penguins. I didn't get a picture of the kids with either one of the things they wanted to see. I know, way to go Yvonne. We had fun anyways and the kids both got a stuffed animal of what they wanted to see.

I think there were crabs in this bubble.

McKinlee loved seeing all the different fish. She wanted to touch a sting ray so bad!
I love Wyatt's reflection in this one.

I am just starting this new blog. I hope I can get myself to keep up with this one, I wasn't very good at keeping up the old one. Why don't I just start updating the old one you ask? Because I wasn't too fond of the name so I started a new one. Yeah, I'm a dork!
