A Day of Fishing

We spent the day fishing at Schofield. It was windy and looked like it might rain on us but we got lucky and only saw a little sprinkling of rain here and there.  

 Here is Wyatt's BIG catch of the day! He was bummed that we didn't keep any that were caught. He really wanted fish for dinner.

 McKinlee gets car sickness sometimes and today was one of those days. She threw up all over her skort and I had to wash it out in the rest area bathroom so she wore Richard's jacket as a skirt until her bottoms dried.

McKinlee found a pet bug.... it ended up being a baby stink bug!

It was a fun day but we were all so tired and glad to get back home. Until our next adventure.....

Day at the Aquarium

Last Saturday we took the kids to The Living Planet Aquarium. Wyatt wanted to see an Octopus and McKinlee wanted to see Penguins. I didn't get a picture of the kids with either one of the things they wanted to see. I know, way to go Yvonne. We had fun anyways and the kids both got a stuffed animal of what they wanted to see.

                                            I think there were crabs in this bubble.

 

                             McKinlee loved seeing all the different fish. She wanted to touch a sting ray so bad!

I am just starting this new blog. I hope I can get myself to keep up with this one, I wasn't very good at keeping up the old one. Why don't I just start updating the old one you ask? Because I wasn't too fond of the name so I started a new one. Yeah, I'm a dork!
